Aimee Del Valle is a British watercolour artist living and painting in rural France. Before studying art her life was spent in the world of dance and theatre, a perfect companion to her passion for drawing and painting. When I wasn’t dancing I was sketching people, especially dancers. My parents, both naturally artistic, encouraged me to keep exploring art. Today, ballet remains a strong creative influence, and Aimee’s ballerina paintings are often described as dreamlike and ethereal.
