Comfortable and light weight, smooth pretty cotton fabric. Short but not too short. Was hard to find shorts that would fit my super-flat rear end well and not be baggy, but these fit great. The waist feels a little higher than other short-shorts out there these days so it feels better and more natural too - they don't come down low in the back when you sit down. The fly is not a ridiculously short 1 inch. It's about 2 1/2 inches.Loved the style and fabric of these shorts but they are a little too short to be comfortable in at my age. I gave them to my daughter and they look great on her.So disappointed when I rec'vd this. Unlike a lot of Columbia wear that either runs true to size or a titch larger, these did not match chart measurements or photo appearance at all. They sit much lower on the hips (in photo, shorts hit waistline), and the legs were much tighter (nice for thin thighs...not mine). So...back they go!Nice shorts but sizing is a bit large 1 size to big. Good qualty and color. They look nice on her.These shorts run a little small. I have to return them for the next size up. However they are made with nice light material and I still like them.Recently had a baby and it is tough to find shorts to fit. These fit great. They are well made Columbia shorts. I liked having something a little different than my Khaki shorts and these are really nice. Good length and Good accurate fit.Not your average size. Short runs too short and slightly snug.
